SRINAGAR, FEB 5: Two drug peddlers were arrested and contraband worth Rs 18 crore seized in Uri on Saturday. A statement of Police issued here said that during surprise checking of two

vehicles (JK09C 1584 and JK05G-0247) eight packets of heroin weighing about 9 kg and worth Rs 18 crore were recovered. Police identified the two drug peddlers as Muhammad Sabir Barwal of

Jabda Kamalkote, Uri and Parvaiz Ahmad Tantray of Reban Rafiabad, Sopore. Police registered FIR No 17/2022 into the case.
