Italian outlet CMW claim Manchester City are preparing a £25million offer plus Nathan Ake to sign Portugal international and AC Milan attacker Rafael Leao this summer, after a stunning
2021-22 campaign. Leao, 23, had a hand in 26 goals for Milan during 42 league and cup appearances – proving to be a crucial part of his side’s Scudetto win. But the attacker has now entered
the final 12 months of his contract. Milan have placed a £50million price tag on Leao’s head and Manchester City are keen. However, they know Paolo Maldini would like to sign a defender –
with the club missing out on Sven Botman, and keen on Japhet Tanganga. Indeed, Pep Guardiola’s side are said to be preparing an offer of £25million for Leao, plus Netherlands international
Nathan Ake. A player that has himself been linked with Aston Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham this summer. MANCHESTER CITY PREPARING AKE OFFER TO SIGN LEAO Leao would be a stunning signing,
not least because City need to replace Raheem Sterling. They have brought in Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland, but have of course also lost Gabriel Jesus. So, another attacking options is
needed. What is good regarding Leao is that he can play either out wide, as a secondary striker or as a centre-forward himself. A player that is still only 23, but with 146 senior club
appearances to his name, and nine Portugal caps. He would be a smart signing from City. Whether a deal of Ake and cash will be enough to get him over the line is another question. But given
Ake is a £40million defender, and the club are ready to pay £25million, it is a good offer.
