THE 2014 E-CLASS COUPE AND CABRIOLET WILL BE ON SALE IN THE UK AFTER APRIL. After the first images of the 2014 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet were released earlier this month, Mercedes-Benz
has now officially showcased the two models at the ongoing Detroit Auto Show. Design wise, like the standard 2014 E-Class, both the Coupe and Cabriolet get a single-piece headlamp cluster
instead of the E-Class’ signature twin-light units. Move over to the side and you will find that the E-Class’ sleek yet muscular looking profile has been maintained for these new generation
models. While at the back, both the cars feature new-design LED taillights. Inside, the E-Class Cabriolet retains a soft-top in place of a folding hardtop. However, thanks to the thick, well
insulated soft top, the Cabriolet’s cabin is said to be as quiet and soothing as the Coupe. Both the new E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet’s party trick comes in the form of a multi-purpose
camera, which scans the road ahead and detects oncoming traffic and pedestrians. Called the stereo multi-purpose camera, the technology also comes standard in Merc’s flagship sedan, the
S-Class. Image source: Autoexpress.co.uk ALSO READ:
