following the day-wise box office collection of Rani Mukerji’s Hichki, you could already see this coming. The film, which marks the actress’ return to the big screen post marriage and

motherhood, has earned Rs 20.10 crore in just 5 days and it calls for a success party. While it saw a decent start on Friday upon release, good reviews, complemented with positive word of

mouth ensured that Hichki gets footfalls on weekdays as well. The film has been “ROCK-STEADY” as trade analyst Taran Adarsh puts it, on not just the first weekend but on Monday and Tuesday

as well, raking in Rs 2.40 crore and Rs 2.35 crore respectively. (Fri 3.30 cr, Sat 5.35 cr, Sun 6.70 cr, Mon Total: Rs 20.10 cr [961 screens]. India biz.) And to celebrate this success run,

the team Hichki is coming together for a success party, being held at Yash Raj Studios, on March 29. The lead actress Rani, producer Maneesh Sharma and director Siddharth P Malhotra will all

has been appealing to audience across all age-groups and genders and riding on massively overwhelmingly positive word of mouth. The film sees Rani plays the character of Naina Mathur who

has a nervous system disorder, Tourette Syndrome that forces an individual to make involuntary repetitive movements or sounds. Yash Raj Films’ Hichki focuses on turning disadvantages into

opportunities and staring down at challenges that life throws at one and ultimately winning over them. Hichki is also a subtle reminder about discrimination that exists in our society and

has become a part of our daily lives. It highlights this through the story of Naina, who faces discrimination from our society that firmly believes she cannot be a teacher because of her

disorder. Progressive, brave and positive, the movie is about the power of will and determination. Hichki salutes the unsung efforts dedicated teachers make and their life changing impact on

their students. ALSO READ:
