The Fire Department has approved 10 sites in Culver City where veterans and other nonprofit groups will be permitted to sell fireworks from June 29 to July 4. The nonprofit groups recently
submitted the proposed sites to the department, which inspected them for fire safety last week, Fire Marshall Russell Matheson said.
The sites are: Adams Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue; Washington Boulevard and Dauphin Avenue; Washington Boulevard and Prospect Avenue; 3816 Sepulveda Blvd.; Jefferson Boulevard and Cota
Street; Washington Boulevard and Glencoe Avenue; Centinela Avenue and Bristol Parkway; Slauson Avenue and Hannum Avenue; Sepulveda Boulevard and Slauson Avenue; and Jefferson Boulevard and
Rodeo Road.
