ATHENS — A 75-year-old woman was pulled alive from the ruins of her house in the southern Greek city of Kalamata 10 days after a powerful quake there killed 20 people, the state-run radio


reported Wednesday. Angeliki Persente was calling for help and finally caught the attention of a passer-by. Rescuers found her in the debris of her home with some of her cats and chickens,
