Greyhound Lines Inc., the nation’s largest inter-city bus company, and the Amalgamated Transit Union Council reached tentative agreement on a two-year contract for 7,500 drivers and

mechanics, apparently ending the company’s threat to sell the unit. Ratification of the pact by union members was expected by Dec. 8, officials in Phoenix said. Details of the agreement were
