* Re “State Easing Up on Exit Exam for High School,” Dec. 8: With regard to high school exit exams, it seems to me that a good test of the exam would be to give it to all the high school and
college teachers to see how well they would do. My guess is that many would not do very well. As a high school tutor for the past five years, I have looked through some of the SAT tests and
have found them to be very complicated and confusing (almost as bad as some of the algebra textbooks). In addition, I found several errors. Perhaps all the people who are involved with
