In a gripping Emmerdale plot twist, fans are speculating that Cain Dingle, portrayed by Jeff Hordley, might be set up for murder by his half-sibling Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) following an
affair with Caleb's wife Ruby (Beth Cordingly). Last week's intense episodes saw Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) under the impression that he was responsible for Anthony's
(Nicholas Day) death after discovering his historical abuse towards Ruby as a child. Aaron confided in John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), who assisted him in concealing the body and masking
their tracks. Yet, it unfolded to be Ruby who actually delivered the lethal strike. Ruby was ultimately informed about the day's occurrences by an unsuspecting Aaron, but she shocked
him by admitting she was the real perpetrator. Despite Aaron and John keeping quiet about the disposal site of the body, a crucial piece of evidence remains: Anthony's tooth, which
could potentially link someone to the crime, reports Leeds Live. During this Monday's episode, Caleb approached Cain after learning from Ruby's father that Cain had been
romantically involved with Ruby. Despite the allegations, Cain remained impassive, assuring Caleb of his innocence. Nonetheless, the question lingers: Did Caleb accept his word, or is
revenge on the horizon? Caleb confronted Cain, stating, "It was Anthony who told me," to which Cain retorted with composure: "This being the bloke who abused his own daughter
and got her pregnant." "Yeah, I know what you're thinking. I have been thinking it as well," Caleb confessed. "That he was just trying to get under your skin,"
Cain said. "Are we ok?" Caleb inquired with a sigh of relief and proceeded to disclose everything about Anthony's demise. He revealed that they had utilised Cain's garage
to hide Anthony's car, which could land the Dingle stalwart in hot water should the police discover it. "That's why I need you to cover," Caleb implored, to which Cain
responded: "Otherwise, I drop you all in it." "Far from it," Caleb asserted. "I will do whatever it takes to protect my family, and that includes you." As their
earnest exchange concluded, Caleb posed the question: "Shall we hug it out?" Nevertheless, after their confrontation, some fans are pondering whether Caleb might frame Cain for
the murder. One fan suggested: "I think Caleb put Anthony's tooth in Cain's pocket when he hugged him." "That would make sense, payback for the affair,"
concurred another member. While yet another expressed dismay: "Ahhh, hope not." One opined: "I can imagine Caleb framing Cain to save Ruby." Another enthusiast pondered
the trust issue: "Caleb trusts Cain that he didn't sleep with Ruby, but does he?" EMMERDALE AIRS WEEKDAYS AT 7.30PM ON ITV.
