Asda has issued an urgent recall of two products in its children's clothing range. A baby romper set has a zip which has been found to have sharp edges in some cases while a two-piece

Disney-branded set has a long cord which could tangle a child. In the recall notices, issued by the Office for Product Safety & Standards, it warned: "The product does not meet the

requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005." Customers who have bought either item are urged to return it to store for a full refund. The supermarket recalled its

George Baby 3-pack Rompers with Zip in all sizes up to 24 months. The outfit, described as "a pack of three pink and cream baby rompers with zips" is said to carry a risk of

"injuries". It warned: "The product presents a risk of injuries as some of the zips have sharp edges. This may lead to babies becoming scratched and injured during use.

"Consumers are advised to return the product to their nearest ASDA store for a full refund. For further information, please visit ASDA’s website at the following link:

the £12 set. It said: "George Baby 3PK Zip Rompers (all sizes up to 24 months) has been identified with a manufacturing issue. Some of the zips may contain sharp edges, which poses a

risk of injury. This issue affects ALL sizes. "If you have purchased the George Baby 3PK Zip Rompers from Asda, please stop using immediately. Bring it back to your nearest store where

you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt." The items have the following barcodes: 5059201506212, 5059201505772,5059201506137, 5059201506151, 5059201506175,

recalled its George 'Stitch and Angel' 2-piece set. The outfit is described as: "A light blue two-piece clothing set for children with Stitch and Angel designs." The

recall notice says: "The product has been identified as presenting a risk of injuries as the cord supplied with the shorts is too long. A child could become tangled or trapped in the

cord, leading to injury. "Consumers are advised to return the product to their nearest ASDA store for a full refund. For further information, please access ASDA’s website at the

following link: https://corporate.asda.com/product-recall-george-stitch-and-angel-2-pieceset-all-sizes." A manufacturing issue was also blamed for the issue. On its website it says:

"The George Stitch and Angel 2-piece set has been identified with a manufacturing issue on the cord length which on some garments may be too long and could pose a risk of injury. The

top in this 2-piece set is unaffected. This issue affects ALL sizes. If you have purchased the George Stitch and Angel 2-piece set from Asda, please bring it back to your nearest store where

you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt." The item has the following barcodes which can be found in the inner care label of the garment: 5059201121453,
