If you're searching for the best way to make the most out of the last bank holiday until the next one in August, you do not have to look further. There are plenty of activities to
choose from in Leicestershire this bank holiday weekend, and one of them is making a return with a bang. Fire performers, monster trucks and helicopter rides have been announced for a day
full of events in Leicestershire. The Harborough Summerfest 'Big family day out' is coming to Market Harborough at the end of this month, on Saturday, May 31, and it promises to
bring together the 'best attractions'. From arena demonstrations and airshows to musical tributes that will delight 1980s rock fans and Swifties, organisers are already predicting
'an unforgettable family day out'. Moreover, the event states that there will be multiple zones and arenas offering families an array of activities to enjoy throughout the day and

AND ENTERTAINMENT Activities for the little ones with face painting, mega slides and side stalls have been announced. As the event's organisers, Xplosive Events, said: "This
action-packed event is designed to offer something special for every member of the family." From 12pm to 8pm you will be able to partake in helicopter rides, tank rides, mini monster
trucks, mega slides, a land train, a mega fairground, a parkour workshop, 'time 2 bounce', side stalls and games, and a even visit a market. As the parkour workshop will invites
visitors to learn new tricks around the art of freestyle climbing, hot air balloons will also be up in the air during the event, however, these will not be available to the public. The
general market area will be open from 12pm until 6pm, for visitors to buy gifts and prizes. There will also be stilt walkers, mirror men, bubble entertainers and a firework display taking
place towards the end of the day. Organisers share that there will also be a firework finale, with a 'spectacular display to close the day with a bang'. FOOD AND DRINK Throughout
the day, there will be food stalls with various items on offer. Hot dogs, burgers, hog roast and artisan street food are all included in the announcement of the event. The organisers have
also listed coffee, hot chocolate, real ale, cider and cocktails among the variety of drinks. They further note that families can bring their own picnic to enjoy in the designated areas.
PRICE AND PARKING Activities will be available at a discounted price of £2 until 2pm. Tickets bought online for the event are £32.80 for people aged 16 years old or over, and £16.70 for
children aged between three to 15 years old. The event is free for guests aged two years old or younger. On-site parking available for £5 per vehicle (pre-booking required). TIME AND PLACE
The Harborough Summerfest will take place on Saturday, May 31 from 12 to 10.30pm at Harborough Showground in Gallow Field Road, LE16 7WB. Gates will open at 10am. Advance booking recommended
