POLICE ARE APPEALING FOR WITNESSES FOLLOWING THE INCIDENT 12:04, 21 May 2025 A motorcyclist was seriously injured after he was involved in a crash with a Ford Fiesta. The collision occurred
at approximately 5pm on Wednesday, May 14 at the junction of Hoylake Road and Acton Lane near to the Grange public house in Moreton. The motorcyclist, a 39 year-old man, suffered a serious
injury to his shoulder. The driver of the car stopped at the scene. Merseyside Police shared details of the incident today and are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV, doorbell or dashcam
footage which could help with their investigation into the incident. The officer in charge of the investigation, PC Gareth Milbourne, said: “This was a serious collision and we’re keen to
speak to any witnesses as a result. “The motorcyclist was very shaken after the incident and suffered a serious shoulder injury . “The incident happened early in the evening when there would
have been numerous people around who may have seen what happened. Any information, no matter how small, could help the investigation. Article continues below “If you were passing the
