A WOMAN WAS LEFT 'SPIRALLING' AND CLAIMED HER 'ENTIRE WEEK WAS RUINED' AFTER A FLIGHT ATTENDANT TOLD HER OFF FOR A 'NATURAL' REACTION SHE HAD WHILE SHE WAS
ONBOARD THE PLANE 14:42, 21 May 2025 A woman was left mortified by the reaction of a cabin crew member after she tried to get a drink. Sharing her experience in a video posted to social
media, Lucie Fink could be seen looking around anxiously in a video clip onboard an unnamed airline after what she described as a horrifying incident. She prefaced the video, saying:
"I'm DONE. I'm one of those people for whom touch just comes naturally. A hand on the arm, a quick shoulder squeeze - it's how I show warmth and connection." But she
quickly learnt not everyone appreciates this gesture, adding: "But I'm learning not everyone likes that." She went on to recall the situation that left her in distress. Over
the video, Lucie documented the events, stating: "The flight attendant passed my seat with the drinks cart, and I thought she skipped our row. "So I touched her arm gently and said
'Sorry, when you get a chance, can I trouble you-'." However, things didn't go as planned, with the flight attendant reportedly responding: "Do not touch the flight
attendants." Lucie had meant no harm, simply hoping to catch the attention of the flight attendant, but found herself deeply embarrassed by the stern response she received. Article

She mentioned feeling 'spiralling,' with such incidents haunting her 'for years' and worrying she'd 'never recover' as she constantly replays the moments
in her mind. However, she found comfort in responses on social media, saying the "comments on this were so validating and like a much-needed therapy session" for her. A cabin crew
member chimed in, expressing dislike for passengers who "poke or prod," but acknowledged a gentle tap isn't an issue. She encouraged the woman to calm down, with the words:
"enjoy your drink, kick back, and relax." Another airline staffer disclosed: "I hateee when passengers touch me, but to make them feel bad about it, almost like they were
contagious? Lol, that's kinda mean." Article continues below Meanwhile an annoyed passenger added: "So when they touch you with the drink cart, should we freak out saying
don't touch me? Push that cart better." One reply advised: "Or don't have your feet and arms hanging out in the aisle?" Meanwhile, someone else pointed out that if
one gets hit by the cart, then they're probably encroaching on the aisle. Opinions varied, with several saying the passenger shouldn't have touched the attendant at all; instead,
they suggested using the "call light" or saying "excuse me". Agitatedly, one commenter asked: "Do you touch a waitress in a restaurant?"
