in the fictional film as Cardinal Thomas Lawrence who is tasked with organising the selection of a new pope. Throughout the difficult process, Lawrence uncovers the deepest and darkest
secrets, as the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders gather together in the Vatican halls. The political thriller also stars Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Sergio Castellitto, and Isabella
Rossellini. It is an adaptation of the 2016 novel of the same name, written by Robert Harris. Conclave won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. It also received four BAFTA awards,
including Best Film and Best British Film. It delves into the themes of power, corruption and deceit. It offers a closer look into the rituals, politics and quiet power struggles that occur
behind closed doors, reports The Express. The 2024 award-winning film is available to watch at home on three different streaming platforms. Conclave is rated 12A for moderate threat and
