THE COMPANY IS RECALLING ALL ITEMS SOLD DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF AN UNDECLARED INGREDIENT 10:23, 30 May 2025 Iceland has issued an urgent product recall for a favourite lunchbox item due to
the presence of an undeclared ingredient. This week, the frozen food retailer issued a recall to customers regarding a bread item, which should be returned to store if purchased. Sharing the
message on Wednesday, May 28, Iceland said it was recalling its sub rolls because of the presence of undeclared barley, which is not mentioned on the ingredients label. This could cause a
risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to gluten. Shoppers visiting Iceland stores may spot 'point of sale' notices placed in shops across the UK to warn customers about the
recall. Products are recalled by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) when there's a safety concern that could harm consumers. Reasons include manufacturing defects, or incorrect labelling.
The FSA works with businesses to issue alerts and inform consumers about recalled products. Food businesses are responsible for recalling products that are unsafe. The Office for Product
Safety and Standards also updates gov.uk with the latest products that have been pulled from shelves. OPPS are responsible for the regulation of most consumer goods excluding food,

rompers sold at the supermarket chain. The update was posted on the Instagram profile of consumer champion, Which? It said: "URGENT RECALL: George Baby 3PK Zip Rompers (all sizes up to
24 months) sold by Asda. The product presents a risk of scratch injuries as some of the zips have sharp edges." Products with one of the following barcodes are affected: 5059201506212,

recall notice was also issued by the Office for Product Safety & Standards on gov.uk. It said: "The product presents a risk of injuries as some of the zips have sharp edges. This
may lead to babies becoming scratched and injured during use. "The product does not meet the requirement of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005." The government also
explained the corrective action. It added: "Consumers are advised to return the product to their nearest ASDA store for a full refund. For further information, please access ASDA’s
website." On ASDA's website, it said: "George Baby 3PK Zip Rompers (all sizes up to 24 months) has been identified with a manufacturing issue. Some of the zips may contain
