Sharing pictures of himself on the bus with the Premier League trophy and his medal, Alexander-Arnold wrote: “Perfect send off. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I love my city.” He


added a red heart emoji.

Gakpo also ‘liked’ the message. But he wasn’t the only member of the Liverpool squad to do so.
