message to those affected by the car incident at the end of Liverpool's open top bus parade on Monday. A 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area was arrested following the


incident after a car was driven into a crowd on Water Street. Forty-seven people were injured after supporters had gathered to celebrate the Liverpool's record-equalling 20th


championship. Of the 27 who were taken to hospital, two people, including one child, have suffered serious injuries. Van Dijk was on the coach as the Liverpool squad toured the city on a day

with you'. The Netherlands international posting a picture of the Liver Building surrounded in red smoke during the parade on his Instagram Story. Meanwhile, he wrote: "My thoughts


are with everyone affected. "Praying for a speedy recovery for everyone who suffered injuries. "We are all with you." Van Dijk then finished his post with a love heart emoji.

player had reposted the club's official statement on his own Instagram Story as he wrote: "My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected right now. YNWA." A number of
