LIVERPOOL HAVE BID £109M FOR BAYER LEVERKUSEN MIDFIELD ACE FLORIAN WIRTZ 18:30, 30 May 2025 Florian Wirtz's Bayer Leverkusen teammate, Nathan Tella, has spoken out about the
midfielder's possible transfer this summer. The midfielder is now subject of a bid from Liverpool as talks continue to progress. The Reds have offered £109m for the 22-year-old's
services, the _ECHO UNDERSTANDS_, made up of an unspecified fixed fee plus add-ons. Sporting director Richard Hughes received the go ahead to ramp up negotiations when Wirtz himself made it

Wirtz ahead of a potential move to Anfield. "As a player he's brilliant," the former Southampton and Burnley winger has told talkSPORT. "You know, I've worked with
him for the last two years and it's like each day I could just see this guy is unbelievable. "It's no surprise he has a lot of interest in him because he's a brilliant
player, but we trust that the club will make the right decision, he'll make the right decision. "And as a friend, I hope he's also happy with whatever decision he makes, but
we will support him regardless." Although it's not yet clear what Wirtz's decision will be, Reds fans will be hoping it's to sign for Liverpool over Bayern Munich, with
Premier League rivals Manchester City also conceding defeat in the race themselves. The saga reached a pivotal stage last week, it has been claimed the German champions launched a final
