LATEST LIVERPOOL TRANSFER NEWS WITH AN UPDATE ON LUIS DIAZ'S FUTURE KIERAN KING 12:15, 30 May 2025 Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr are monitoring Luis Diaz's situation ahead of a
potential summer move, according to the latest reports. The Colombian has enjoyed a fine season in Arne Slot's title-winning Liverpool team, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists
in 36 Premier League matches. However, Diaz, who turned 28 in January, could leave the Reds in the summer transfer window. He has two years left on his contract at Anfield and there has been
no move to extend his deal. Al-Nassr are keen to strengthen their squad for a Saudi top-flight title bid next season and have identified Diaz as a target, according to The Times. As well as
attempting to sign Diaz, the Middle East club want to keep Cristiano Ronaldo, who could join Al-Hilal for the Club World Cup. READ MORE: Florian Wirtz shows his true colours as Real Madrid

following Diaz, although the Spanish club have an interest in Marcus Rashford and are tempted to make a move for the Manchester United forward. Diaz arrived at Liverpool in a £37.5m plus
add-ons deal from Porto in January 2022. Before moving to the Reds, he had attracted interest from Tottenham but Jurgen Klopp accelerated his attempt to bring him to Merseyside. He enjoyed
an impressive start to life at Liverpool and helped them win the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and reach the Champions League final, scoring six times and providing five assists in 26 matches. The
former Barranquilla and Atletico Junior man began the following campaign as Liverpool's first-choice left winger following the departure of Sadio Mane, but he was forced to spend seven
months on the sidelines - missing most of the campaign - after suffering a serious knee injury in October 2022. That hampered Diaz's progress but he returned as a more complete forward
and his form during Klopp's final season at Liverpool was exhilarating at times. He ended the 2023/24 campaign on 13 goals and seven assists, and has since become an important member of
Slot's squad since his arrival last year. While Diaz could leave this summer, Darwin Nunez's Liverpool future is more uncertain. The Uruguayan ended the season out of favour,
having started just nine times in the Premier League in 2024/25. Al-Hilal are interested in the 25-year-old and are tempted to make a move in time for the Club World Cup. Article continues
below When asked about Nunez's future before Liverpool's Premier League finale against Crystal Palace, Slot said: "I don't know exactly what is going to happen. One of
the main strengths we had this season is that everybody accepted his role. "And his role sometimes could be to start every single game, hardly be taken off, sometimes be taken off. It
could be sometimes not starting every single game, sometimes not playing hardly minutes."
