I found a shampoo and conditioner set recently that I believe helps my hair last longer between washes. Everyone tends to have a different routine, however I find my fine hair needs to be
washed every couple of days in order to look its best. Recently I tried the Aussie Mega Shampoo and Conditioner Set and actually found I could go one extra day - I was even able to wear my
hair down on the third day which usually isn't an option. I got the set on Amazon, and at the time of writing, it's on offer for £15.49, reduced from £18. This set contains extra
large sizes, 1145ml in total, however you can also pick up the 500ml shampoo individually for as low as £3 at Superdrug (currently reduced from £5.99). READ MORE: The £20 product that makes
it look 'like you've been to the beach' READ MORE: Aveeno moisturiser 'feels like a spa day' for 'menopausal skin' and is now £6 As a "clarifying
shampoo", this particular product works to deep clean the scalp, focussing on removing dirt, oils, and build-up - perhaps why I find my hair feels cleaner for longer. It's still
"gentle enough for daily use", for those who prefer to wash their hair more regularly. The conditioner is very lightweight, which I also think is a big factor. Sometimes
conditioners can be too heavy and leave a lot of excess oils in the hair, whereas I find this one leaves just the right amount of softness without being too much. Both products are infused
with Australian blue mountain eucalyptus extract, which helps to cleanse, reduce inflammation, and stimulate hair follicles. After having used this set for roughly three or four weeks, I
have noticed my hair has grown quite fast, and this ingredient may be partly responsible. Although sitting at a more premium £56 price point, the OUAI Medium Ha ir Bundle is another set I
find can help my hair last longer between washes. The shampoo is enriched with hydrating coconut and Babassu oils, which I find prevents the hair from getting frizzy throughout the day. This
bundle is backed by a 4.6/5 star rating on LookFantastic. On Amazon, the Aussie set has a rating of 4.6/5, with one shopper writing: "Excellent value for money. My daughter won't
use any other make. The smell is amazing and always good quality from this seller. The shine and softness on my daughters hair is amazing and her hair doesn't get greasy as can very
quickly with other shampoo and conditioners. She loves how it makes her hair. Highly recommend." Another user said: "Adds a boost of confidence and makes me feel my hair is newly
washed and fresher for longer." However, this user said: "This product has really dried out my scalp! Not a fan at all, leaves my hair matted and dry." - so perhaps if you
have a dry scalp, something a little more nourishing would be preferable. The Pureology Hydrate Shampoo 266ml & Conditioner 266ml Duo has also been reduced at Amazon, now down to £37.42,
and is designed for dry hair.
