THIS PRODUCT TAKES OFF MAKEUP WITH JUST WATER 13:39, 30 May 2025 A seemingly simple task, taking makeup off at the end of the day can often feel like such a chore. Despite it not being great
for our skin, it's understandable why many of us can end up falling asleep in a full face after a long day. In fact, the thought of having to take off makeup at night has often stopped
me from applying it in the first place. This might seem dramatic, but any waterproof mascara wearers will understand exactly what I mean. While some skin makeup is relatively easy to take
off, eye makeup, especially black eyeliner or mascara, can take forever to remove. Even with endless wipes or doses of micellar water, I always seem to wake up with a black smudge under my
eyes indicating that my makeup wasn’t properly removed. I find that the endless scrubbing can leave my eye area feeling irritated and even some micellar waters, a product I would have
thought to be very gentle, have left a sting. What’s more, endlessly buying cotton pads and plastic bottles of product is neither good for my bank account nor the environment. Article

The soft pads can be used in just the same way as cotton pads but miraculously seem to work without the need for makeup remover. Simply wetting the pad and gently wiping across my face
removed even my black eye makeup without scrubbing. Without having to work with a flimsy and disintegrating piece of cotton wool, the process was also far more quick and satisfying. For some
really stubborn makeup I have taken to using a cleansing balm. But for everyday use, water seems to work just fine with the reusable pads to get most of my makeup off before I wash my face
as normal. I rinse my pads after use then wash them in the washing machine with a regular cycle. Article continues below The pads are readily available in shops including Marks &
Spencer, Boots and Primark.
