THE FRAGRANCES DISAPPEARED FROM SHELVES BUT HAVE RETURNED JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER 12:00, 03 Jun 2025 Primark’s recently revived fragrances have delighted shoppers who are comparing them to
similar products from Sol de Janeiro. One of the fragrances called Rio Romance was spotted in Liverpool One last week. The body mists are on sale in 100ml bottles for £3.50. The same size
bottles of Sol de Janeiro are sold for as much as £38 online. Primark’s website shows seven variations of the body mists which all come in brightly coloured packaging. Fragrances include
Maldives Summer and Sunday Chill and are said to have a “tropical” fragrance. One excited reviewer took to TikTok to share her views on the fragrances. She said that Primark has previously
stocked the “viral product” but it disappeared from shelves. Article continues below The product which has now returned to stores was described as a great dupe for Sol de Janeiro with
Primark’s Bali Blush being likened to a limited edition Sol de Janeiro fragrance, Caroica Crush. The TikTok user also said Primark’s Santorini Sunset “smelt the same” as Sol de Janeiro’s 62.
She said: “Why am I spending £20… when Primark smells the same?" However she did note that the “caramel and almond” scented product didn’t have as strong a fragrance as the Sol de
Janeiro version. Another dupe mentioned was Primark’s Carpi Coast said to be a dupe for Sol de Janeiro’s 59. Article continues below Primark is also selling mascaras said to be dupes for
Benefit and TooFaced. One reviewer described the False Lash Queen mascara as one of the ‘best and cheapest’ she had tried. Primark’s Wonder Lash product has been described as being similar
to Benefit’s They’re Real! lengthening mascara which sells for £27.
