Thursday, May 29, will rival Maccies, as it is “offering free, freshly cooked hash browns to those left craving their morning potato fix”. The stunt comes as research from the supermarket
has supposedly uncovered the "great breakfast frustration” — the feeling Brits experience when they miss out on the breakfast cut-off. The study suggested that 62% of UK adults believe
11am is too early to stop serving breakfast, with one in five saying they would prefer breakfast food to be available all day. What’s more, comfort, flexibility, and convenience were cited
as the key reasons Brits love breakfast. Aldi’s chief commercial officer, Julie Ashfield, said: "Brits love their hash browns and our Oakhurst Breakfast Hash Browns have developed quite
the loyal following, with over half a million breakfast hash browns sold in store per week. "That’s why our hash brown van has been designed with one purpose — to bring the nation
their crispy potato fix at any time of the day, not just before 11 am.” Aldi’s Oakhurst Breakfast Hash Browns are £1.99 for a pack of 10. Foodies will be given these hash browns today.
Aldi's hash brown tour will kick off in London from Thursday morning, before heading to other UK locations. Social media updates from Aldi will let you know where and when to expect the
van; however, it is believed the van will only remain in place for an hour. For those who miss out on Aldi’s hash brown tour, the supermarket’s range, including the Oakhurst Breakfast Hash
Browns, is available to buy in stores now. Rounding off the range is a variety of frozen meats, including bacon, beef, pork, and chicken. You can find items like smoked and unsmoked beef
quarter pounders, and slow-cooked BBQ pulled pork. It comes after McDonald's launched a new breakfast menu earlier this month. While a few new combinations were created, such as the
