It is only day left until the summer transfer window officially opens on Sunday, June 1. After their post-season tour of Asia, Manchester United will return to England following a 1-0 loss
to the ASEAN All-Stars and a 3-1 victory over Hong Kong. Chido Obi grabbed a brace before Ayden Heaven scored the third in stoppage time. The club’s attention will now turn to the transfer
window, where signing a new striker is among the priorities. This comes after missing out on Liam Delap, who is thought to favour a move to Chelsea. _Here, MEN Sport has taken a look at the
latest headlines from in and around Old Trafford._ BENJAMIN SESKO 'NEGOTIATIONS' Arsenal have reportedly started negotiations with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko amid interest from
United. That's according to Sky Sports Germany's Florian Plettenberg, who claims that discussions are 'ongoing' about a possible payment structure. This comes after a
meeting earlier this week in London between the clubs' executives Marcel Shafer and Andrea Berta in London. It's said Sesko's release clause has been set at over €80million
(£67m). Meanwhile, German outlet BILD reported that United have 'earmarked' Sesko as a potential reinforcement for their attack this summer. With Liam Delap reportedly favouring a
move to Chelsea, the Reds have turned their attention elsewhere. The report also states that United chief Omar Berrada has personally endorsed the move for the 21-year-old after conducting
several individual assessments of the striker’s progress. Berrada is even believed to have watched Sesko in action during RB Leipzig's recent 3-2 win over Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
_MEN SPORT SAYS: Of course, Sesko would resolve some of United's issues in front of goal and provide much-needed firepower and fresh attacking options. However, h__e has had long-term
admirers at Arsenal, who have closely monitored his development and see him as a key part of their future plans. _ _This means United will likely face stiff competition if they aim to secure
his signature, making the pursuit far from straightforward. But it would represent a significant piece of business if completed._ REDS TO 'REIGNITE INTEREST' IN DUO According to
Give Me Sport, the major blow over Delap has prompted United to target Randal Kolo Muani and Jean-Philippe Mateta from Paris Saint-Germain and Crystal Palace, respectively. It's
reported the club will 'make checks' over whether Muani would be an 'ideal' fit for Amorim. Their interest dates back to January, when the club considered a loan move for
him before he joined Juventus on a short-term loan. It's believed he could be available for £35m. Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli has already made his intentions clear over Muani.
"Our relationship with PSG is excellent. We moved early and with great determination to beat the competition," he told Sky. "Our intention is to continue with him. We’ll sit
down at the end of the season to see how to make it happen,” he added. Kolo Muani’s contract with PSG runs until 2028." Palace, meanwhile, would reportedly not let Mateta depart for
less than £50m. _MEN SPORT SAYS: This could almost be a non-starter for United. As we have often reported, attracting players this summer will be difficult following their failure to secure
Champions League football next season._ _Mateta is set to play European football for the first time in his career after Palace lifted the FA Cup trophy, meaning a move for the Frenchman
could be off the cards. He may be reluctant to leave a team that offers valuable experience on the European stage and greater exposure at a higher level of competition._ _As for Muani,
United will face tough competition from Juventus, with director Cristiano Giuntoli making their intentions clear. The Italian giants finished fourth in Serie A, securing Champions League
football - a huge draw for players wanting to compete at the highest European level. Juventus may also be able to offer a more competitive wage package or signing bonus tied to their
Champions League participation, giving them an edge in negotiations._ GET UNITED TRANSFER NEWS AND UPDATES ON WHATSAPP! Our team of Manchester United experts are on top of all the goings-on
