Manchester United yet again find themselves back at the drawing board as they prepare for the summer transfer window to open on Sunday (June 1). United had two priority targets heading into
what should be a difficult summer - Wolves star Matheus Cunha and Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap. Cunha appears all-but a done deal for United with his £62.5million release clause widely
expected to be activated sooner rather than later. Delap has, though, fallen through. _The Manchester Evening News _reported this week that the forward has chosen Chelsea over United and the
club now face a problem. They need to sign at least one striker this summer if they wish to avoid the same fate as this season and now their options are limited. Those players who are at
the top of their games want Champions League football next season, while if they don't then money then becomes a factor for the club. Fortunately, there is one secret weapon who gives
United an outside chance of pipping Arsenal to their current priority target Benjamin Sesko. RB Leipzig's centre-forward is the subject of interest from the Gunners after they attempted
to sign him last year. That deal fell through as the Slovenia frontman committed his future to Leipzig, but after the club missed out on Champions League football next season, despite Sesko
scoring 13 goals in the Bundesliga, the vision for his future shifted. Multiple reports have suggested that Arsenal have entered talks for the forward. However, journalist Christian Falk
understands United remain interested in the striker. United also hold potential optimism for a deal owing to their recruitment director Christopher Vivell. The 38-year-old has a long history
with Sesko that dates back to 2019 when he was working with RB Salzburg to sign him as a teenager. That plan worked and Vivell has kept a close eye on his career since. His previous work
with the Red Bull group may also help United in negotiations, as well, if they attempt to poach Sesko from beneath Arsenal's noses. External factors such as Sesko's price tag - and
the lack of Champions League football at United - could well play against them in negotiations. Nevertheless, it appears United could still have a chance of bringing the 22-year-old to the
Premier League owing to their secret weapon. GET UNITED TRANSFER NEWS AND UPDATES ON WHATSAPP! Our team of Manchester United experts are on top of all the goings-on at Old Trafford for this
