flourish in a variety of environments - including your lawn.
Capable of thriving in nearly any soil condition, unchecked moss growth can swiftly form dense, spongy mats that overshadow the grass. And its presence not only spoils the look of your lawn
but also threatens the vitality of your grass, smothering it and hogging vital water and nutrients.
While chemical solutions exist for moss eradication, experts at The Turf Grass Group have recommended an effective home solution they say 'works great'. They said: "You can mix baking soda
with lukewarm water to create an effective DIY herbicide that will work great to kill moss."
Simply blend a small box of baking soda with two gallons of water for this approach, reports the Express. This solution can treat roughly 1,000 square feet of moss-infested lawn, and should
you be dealing with more expansive areas, just scale up the mixture while preserving the proportions.
Use a garden sprayer to apply a generous coating of the solution to the moss. Gardening experts advise saturating the moss 'for the best results'.

it orange or brown.
Once the moss is dead, it should be straightforward to eliminate with a metal rake. Moss roots are incredibly shallow, so a rake should suffice in removing the entire plant.
After gathering the moss, dispose of it in sealed bags away from your lawn, as spores can still disperse, carried by the wind and reseed your lawn.
