SIR ROD IS SET TO PERFORM IN THE 'LEGENDS' SLOT AT THE WORTHY FARM FESTIVAL IN SOMERSET 17:56, 03 Jun 2025 Sir Rod Stewart has revealed that he will be joined by three special
guests when he takes to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury at the end of this month. The rock-music icon appeared on BBC Sounds podcast Sidetracked by Glastonbury to chat with Nick Grimshaw
and Annie Macmanus about his upcoming performance in the coveted 'legends' slot at the Somerset festival. Just last week, Sir Rod revealed that he plans to share his Pyramid Stage
slot with old friend and Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood. Appearing on The Peter Crouch Podcast, Sir Rod shared the news that Wood will be joining him for his set at Worthy Farm. Crouch
asked Sir Rod: “Do you keep in touch with Sir Elton John, Rolling Stones, people in music? Are you still pals?” The 80-year-old rocker replied quickly, “Not really. Woodie, I do a lot, just
recently because we’re going to do Glastonbury together.” But it has been a tumultuous time for Sir Rod, who sadly had to cancel a performance in Las Vegas on Monday night, June 2, due to
ill health. Sharing the disappointing news to his Instagram story, Sir Rod said: "I am sorry to inform you that I'm not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars
Palace is being rescheduled to June 10. Your tickets will be valid for the new date. Sir Rod." Article continues below Now though, Sir Rod has revealed that he will have not just one
but three guests performing alongside him when he takes to the stage at Worthy Farm at the end of June. He also revealed that he is fairly last minute when it comes to planning a set-list,
but he did rule out a couple of numbers that fans can now scratch of their dream set. During Sir Rod's appearance on the Sidetracked by Glastonbury podcast with BBC Sounds, Nick asked:
"You’ve mentioned – you’ve not overly thought the set-list for Glastonbury yet, I love that so much… when will that be decided – the set list?" To which Rod replied: "The
night before, probably. I have two guests coming on so I’ve been doing their songs, three guests actually, won’t be until the night before…" Who the other two guests are is still a
mystery, but luckily fans don't have too long to wait to find out. Sir Rod was then asked about the songs he was most excited to perform at the festival, to which he replied:
"Probably, She’s Only a Pilot’s Daughter but she Kept her Cockpit Clean – I’m looking forward to doing that." Asked which songs he was most proud of writing Sir Rod struggled to
pick, telling Annie: "All of them! They’re all my children." Pressed on which ones he would pick if he had to, he told the presenters: "Probably The Killing of Georgie and
Mandolin Wind," but ruling them out of his upcoming performance, he added: "I wont be doing either of them." Article continues below Headlining Glastonbury's Pyramid
Stage this year is Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young and the 1975, while other acts performing across the weekend include Charli XCX, Biffy Clyro, Alanis Morissette, Noah Kahan, Wolf Alice, Wet Leg

the iconic artists they are going to watch. Among the confirmed set times, there were some acts yet to be announced marked with TBA on the schedule, leading fans to believe there could be
some exciting surprises in store.
