Nvidia beat revenue expectations by $728 million in the latest quarter — a huge amount, but small relative to the sorts of beats investors have seen in other recent quarters. This was the smallest revenue beat since Nvidia posted results for the April quarter of 2023, and the first sub-$1 billion beat since then as well, based on MarketWatch's review of FactSet data. "While this quarter reinforces our longer-term belief in AI, and Nvidia arguably remains the best-positioned company to benefit from this trend, we think the stock reflects our optimism," Edward Jones analyst Logan Purk said in a note to clients.
