The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 256.02 points, or 0.6%, to end at 41,603.07. The S&P 500 retreated 39.19 points , or 0.7%, to finish at 5,802.82. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 188.53 points, or 1%, to close at 18,737.21. All three benchmarks ended well off their session lows on Friday, with the Dow down as much as 505 points just after the opening bell as investors weighed President Trump’s latest tariff threats.
