Actually no, you’ve piqued my curiosity. The only study I’ve seen cited here was in peerj and it’s sole mention of WHR was explaining why they used BMI instead. Is there something else I’m not seeing? I do need to say in closing that humans tend to see other people’s problems as individual. We are more likely to see a problem as systemic when it has hurt us directly. I’m not saying that’s right or good, just that it’s in our nature.
