For me it’s The Beach Boys, even though it still has two members from their golden age, Mike Love & Bruce Johnston, it’s not the same without Brian Wilson or Alan Jardine (or even David Marks). What’s funny is that Brian Wilson actually tours when more Beach Boys than Mike Love’s group does; he has Alan Jardine, David Marks , Plus Blondie Chaplin &( sometimes) Ricky Fataar from the early 70’s era yet he can’t legally use “Beach Boys” in any advertising for his band!
