Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works are both owned by the same company, L Brands. It was formerly known as Limited Brands, named for its one-time flagship brand, The Limited,
which they sold in 2007. Other brands the company owned at one time include Abercrombie & Fitch, Lane Bryant, Lerner New York, and Express. Given their shared parentage, it's not
surprising they had a similar system in place. L Brands attempted a sale of Victoria's Secret earlier in 2020; it fell though. They currently plan to spin it off as a separate company.
