We’ve just started repurposing our content across multiple social media platforms and we’ve been getting much better engagement than when we just focused on FB and email. It sounds like a
lot of work but it’s easier than it seems, especially if you’re using video to simplify the process Recording video is much faster than writing an email because people naturally speak faster
than they write. So start by filming a video. Then, turn it into an email newsletter first, as it’s the perfect blend of both value and your personal story in one post - Email newsletters
should generally mix personal stories and value - LinkedIn and FB should be more about your personal story - For Medium and your blog you’d want to add a bit more value Videos are nice and
easy to create first (note: podcasts and webinars are great too) and it’s always good to have a different form of content for your audience. Once we have the video, we create the email
newsletter and lastly we repurpose it for the platforms above But if you’re not recording video, you should write the email first before repurposing it for other platforms …Now that you have
your video and email newsletter, you have two options. You can repurpose the content yourself or hire a VA or Copywriter to repurpose the content You should be aiming to hire someone to
take the stress away but, first I’d recommend that you do it yourself. Write down exactly how you changed the content and general guidelines for editing. This gives your VA or Copywriter a
better structure to work from, which avoids confusion and may improve your engagement That’s how we’re repurposing all our content — Video to email, then distributed into Medium, LinkedIn
and FB This content repurposing structure is very simple right now, as I’d much rather post daily to every platform, instead of having a complex repurposing method where we can only produce
2 or 3 posts a week
