water usage as utility prices continue to rise. It comes off the back of the average gas and electricity bill rising in recent years due to several global factors. While some are stuck on


fixed tariffs, those with a water meter might need to get creative with ways to cut back. One of the biggest drains of water in the home is when we shower. Data from the company suggests

76 litres of water per shower rather than 114, saving a minimum of 7p per shower. Over the course of one month, that saving would rise to £4.20 per person, and over the course of a year


that would be over £50. But it’s not just Coldplay that works for this cost-saving tip - there are other four-minute songs to suit all tastes. In a recent poll of 2,000 people sharing their
