17:47, 31 May 2025 A man allegedly forced an emergency call handler to choose which part of his father's body he should stab next in a frantic call that ended with him being arrested.

Erick Nimsey, 41, called 911 - the emergency number in the US - while allegedly stabbing his father Eddie Davis at 6pm on May 26. During the call from an apartment complex in Del City, just

outside Oklahoma City, Nimsey allegedly asked the shocked dispatcher: "You want left or right foot? Which one do you want, dispatcher? Whoever you are?" He then allegedly said:

"Say left or right, and this will be on you." The 63-year-old victim could be heard speaking and screaming in the background of the call as his son allegedly continued attacking

him. READ MORE: Woman commits horror crime then texts 'Mum, I've done something awful' According to KWTV, a local CBS affiliate, Nimsey put pressure on the call handler,

saying: "If you don't answer in three seconds then I'm going to assume you said 'left,' okay?" The dispatcher responded: "What is happening?" He then

replied: "It's okay. Just send somebody, alright? Say left or right." Article continues below The television station reported that the dispatcher spent six minutes on the

phone with Nimsey while trying to keep him talking until officers reached the scene. It is alleged that when police arrive, Nimsey refused to open the door and told them to kick it in if

they wanted to enter the flat. Officers reportedly kicked down the door and found a bloody scene in the kitchen, where the victim was. According to Law & Crime, Nimsey was in a nearby

room on his knees and had his hands behind his back. Mr Davis was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. As he was arrested, Nimsey allegedly made a series of bizarre

statements including claiming he was 120 years old and that officers were plotting to kill his mother. He charged with domestic assault and battery with a deadly weapon and domestic assault

and battery resulting in great bodily harm, and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a $25,000 (£18,570) bond. Article continues below Chief Loyd Berger from Del City Police

Department said the call took "a huge emotional toll" on the dispatcher, as he explained: "When you give that dispatcher that option like he was, that's just crazy. It

played a huge emotional toll on her."
