the cards for the BBC soap. Not only that, but this Christmas and New Year could be very "exciting" judging by the hints of said soap star. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror at


the British Soap Awards, Jacqueline Jossa addressed the rumoured return of her onscreen father Max Branning, played by Jake Wood. While she could not confirm or deny, she shared her hopes to


see him back on the show. Jacqueline also confessed bosses often kept huge twists and plots from her, knowing she would give things away by accident. But what the Lauren Branning actress


could tell us was more than one return is rumoured to be con the cards. Not only that, but she teased that in six months time, the show would be in a "very exciting" place.


Jacqueline teased stuff that only she and some of the cast know about, with viewers currently in the dark. Judging by her reaction when she teased the future huge storylines, which would be

'return' Article continues below Jacqueline told us: "I've heard some rumbles. I heard Kate Oates' source say maybe there are gonna be some returns and for me that


excites me, whoever it is." While she did not give away who was coming back, she seemed to give away it's more than one character. The star also addressed the rumours that Max will


finally reprise his role after leaving the show in 2021. Max and actor Jake were written out at the time, and fans have long called for the favourite to head back to the show. Amid


speculation both Max and Lauren's brother Oscar Branning will head to Walford, Jacqueline remained coy over the rumours. She commented: "I have seen the rumours. I feel like you


would have to ask Ben [Wadey], I'd love it. They tell us nothing. I feel like they tell me nothing because if they tell me, I will tell the world by accident. "I know nothing.


It's Max Branning. I'd love him back but he's super busy. We'll ask Ben, we'll beg Ben. Where is he?" It's then that the star revealed there were huge


things to come on the show, with "exciting" plots unfolding around December time. Jacqueline revealed: "I'm a massive fan of the show. I am so excited for [what's


happening], cut to 6 months time, where the show will be [in six months time]. It excites me. You don't know but we know, it's very exciting." Article continues below Her


co-star Kitty Castledine, who plays Lauren's cousin Penny Branning, also teased the big things ahead and promised the show would "keep getting better" from here. Responding


about the scenes later this year, the actress spilled: "Yes, it's good. "You don't know." Adding the show was in a really good place, she told us: "It really is
