JACK PARR IS REPORTEDLY JOINING ITV SOAP EMMERDALE IN AN EXPLOSIVE NEW STORYLINE - AND HE WILL MAKE HIS DEBUT NEXT WEEK 23:11, 18 Apr 2022Updated 23:31, 18 Apr 2022 Emmerdale bosses have

reportedly cast Peaky Blinders actor Jack Parr - and he's going to be involved in a major new storyline for the soap. Jack - who played Dougie Bill in the last series of the BBC1 series

- is going to be making his debut on the soap next week. He will arrive in the village as character Jordan - who becomes embroiled in the lives of several villagers. A TV source told The

Sun : "Jordan will arrive in the village in a shocking way and end up pitting neighbour against neighbour. "It's going to be a dramatic storyline and take on a serious

issue." Article continues below Elsewhere in soap land, Emmerdale fans were pretty divided during Meena Jutla's exit scenes, as her sentencing was announced on Monday night.

Viewers were left "annoyed" over an unusual editing change to the episode, as others claimed it made the scenes even better. Emmerdale doesn't normally feature music over the

top of scenes, but the soap included a piece of classical music that played alongside Meena's exit. Meena sobbed and screamed as she realised her fate, and was dragged away to her cell

where she will spend the rest of her life. The judge sentenced her to 75 years at least in total, with her being told she would never be allowed out. Her final scenes showed the villain

weeping as she was finally punished for three of the murders she committed, and justice was gained for Ben Tucker, Leanna Cavanagh and Andrea Tate. But fans quickly noticed the music that

was playing over Meena's screams and as Manpreet left the court, and not everyone was a fan. Some called it "annoying" and asked why it had been included, as others suggested

it was a great addition. Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "That ending could have been perfect, had it not been for the silly music." Another agreed: "What’s with all the

music it’s damn annoying," as a third said: "The music. The cringe :(." A fourth viewer wrote: "what on earth is this background music?" Others liked the change-up

though, with one fan tweeting: "The music is making this!" A second added: "LOVE the music," as a third commented: "wow the ending of that episode was brilliantly

done, the music, the slow mo. absolutely amazing." _Do you have a story to sell? Get in touch with us at [email protected] or call us direct at 0207 29 33033._ Article continues
