ABSTRACT FULL automatic service for toll or long-distance telephone connexions, as they are variously termed, has been in operation in a number of European countries for some years. The
administrations and operating companies of countries which have not yet adopted this service are anxiously considering methods of improving their service and reducing its cost. An important
