ABSTRACT Organisations to encourage the interests of the young entrant to farming have recently sprung up in many parts of the world. Their membership has expanded at different rates in the
various countries—successful growth possibly being related to the aptness of the educational content of their activities. Whatever the precise form of organisation—young farmers' clubs,
4 _H_. clubs, vocational training—there has been a general stimulus to an increasing output of literature. Much of this has been instilled by high motives and good intentions to impart
