errors and brought them to the attention of the publisher. The main error concerns two instances (both on Page 2) in which ’ammonia oxidation’ has been incorrectly substituted with

‘annammox’. The remaining error concerns one instance (Page 2) in which the word ‘anaerobic’ has been incorrectly spelt as ‘anerobic’. The errors have now been rectified, and the correct
