It’s officially do or die time.

On Tuesday, May 27, Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks lost Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals to Tyrese Haliburton’s Indiana Pacers.

The rough 130-121 defeat leaves Tom Thibodeau’s team down 3-1 in this best-of-seven series.

“It’s disappointing when you don’t get a win,” star center Karl-Anthony Towns said in a postgame press conference. “We just didn’t do enough to get the job done tonight.”

From here on out, every matchup could be their last of the 2024-25 season.

With their backs against the wall, Game 5 goes down at the Knicks’ home Madison Square Garden on Thursday, May 29.

A series victory from a 3-1 deficit wouldn’t be unprecedented, with 13 NBA teams having come back and won after falling behind by such a mark.

If you want to be there to try and help the squad extend their year, last-minute tickets are available for Game 5 at MSG.

And, as of now, prices are dropping dramatically.

When our team last reported on how much it cost to go to Game 5 on May 22, the lowest price we could find on seats was $859 including fees.

Now, six days later, fans can get in for $447 including fees.

For those without a calculator on hand, that’s $412 in savings.

While the circumstances have certainly changed, it’s hard to put a price on witnessing playoff basketball live at the Garden.

For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about the Knicks-Pacers Eastern Conference finals below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

About Knicks-Pacers series

In 2024, Haliburton and the Pacers came back from a 2-0 deficit to take down a hobbled Knicks club in seven games in the the Eastern Conference semifinals.

One series later, they were swept by the mighty Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals.

Soon after, the Knicks bolstered their roster and added Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges. The pieces were finally in place for a deep playoff run.

Over the course of the 2024-25 regular season, the new and improved Knicks met their rivals from Indy three times and took two of those contests.

The Knicks finished the year with a 51-31 record, snagging the No. 3 seed, while the Pacers capped the season with 50 wins and the No. 4 draw.

Following impressive series wins — the Knicks beat the fiery Pistons and dramatically took down the defending champion Celtics in the second round — fans finally got the heated rematch they

had been dreaming of all year long.

Unfortunately, it’s been a bit of a mixed bag for New York thus far.

Games 1 and 2 at the Garden were both heartbreaking in different ways. In the first contest, they squandered a commanding fourth-quarter lead.

Brunson and co. couldn’t capitalize in Game 2.

On the road, the Knicks came alive in game 3 and overcame a double-digit hole to steal a win on Indianapolis’ home court.

However, game 4 was a return to disappointing form. Thibodeau’s club did everything they could on Tuesday night but could not rally in the second half.

For more about the two team’s history — we’re barely scratching the surface or even covering all the fan stories here — you can find all things New York Knicks on The Post.
