it was two or three years ago, but I mean, I was an adult. Let’s say I was 35. It was 35 years of buildup to that point.” While it “was something that [she] had been wanting to do for a long
time,” the final straw was the alleged incident involving her children, for which Dennis “couldn’t even apologize.” “Like, you’re just gaslighting me,” she claimed of their fallout. “I
don’t have time for that anymore. If someone’s not bringing you joy — if people are only bringing you hurt and sadness and anger — what is the point? Even if it’s a parent, life’s too
short.” The Uncommon James founder first spoke about her estrangement from her “narcissist” father in December 2024, claiming she had been programed to “take the abuse” from him. Dennis did
not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
