The 2021 Grammy Awards ceremony kicked off March 14 to honor the best in recorded sound and was like no other in the show's 63-year history.
Since its inception in 1959, this is the first time the annual event, presented by the Recording Academy, was held in a quarantine-friendly and partly virtual format at an undisclosed
location in Los Angeles. Hosted by Trevor Noah, Music's Biggest Night got underway with Harry Styles' jazzy rendition of "Watermelon Sugar," followed by Billie Eilish's mesmerizing
performance of "Everything I Wanted."
Beyoncé made record-breaking victory after winning her 28th Grammy for Best R&B Performance for "Black Parade," becoming the most awarded female musician in Grammys' history. Heading into
the 2021 Grammys, she led the pack of contenders with nine nods, further solidifying her status as the most Grammy-nominated female artist with 79 nominations throughout her entire music
career.
At the televised event, Taylor Swift won Album of the Year for "Folklore," while Billie Eilish scored Record of the Year for "Everything I Wanted."
