Congratulations are in store for rocker Scott Weiland! The former frontman of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver wed photographer Jamie Wachtel, 35, on Saturday night at their Los
Angeles home. “We had the most beautiful, heartfelt ceremony,” says Wachtel, who wore a vintage dress from Paper Bag Princess in Beverly Hills (the groom was outfitted in John Varvatos and
their rings were made by Pade Vavra). “We all cried and laughed. Scott and I are over the moon!” The couple, who first met in 2011 while filming music videos for his Christmas album,
assembled their closest family and friends for the intimate ceremony. Reminiscing on their first meeting to _Rolling Stone_ in November, Weiland, 45, revealed how Wachtel put him at ease
immediately. Wachtel, who was shooting stills, advised him “to tuck in your belly a little bit,” Weiland laughed. “It was around the holidays – it was after Thanksgiving, and you know how
that tends to be. I was kind of caught off guard, and I started laughing and she started laughing. And I don’t know … something magical happened.” Later in the day, Wachtel gave Weiland a
ride home. Says Weiland, “I just thought, ‘I have a feeling that I am going to fall in love with this woman.'” The rocker will next perform with his solo band The Wildabouts on Aug. 17
in Philadelphia.
