Jennifer Lopez may have some difficulty walking up the Metropolitan Museum of Art's iconic steps on Monday, May 6 — but she'll look good, regardless. The multi-hyphenate is
co-chairing the 2024 Met Gala, themed "The Garden of Time," and teased her look for the event during an appearance on _Good Morning America_. "You’ll have to tune in to
see," Lopez, 54, said coyly of her ensemble. "But it’s exciting, it’s exciting. It’s a fun night for fashion." _GMA_'s Lara Spencer then asked Lopez if she'll
"be able to walk in your look." The _This Is Me... Now_ artist responded, "Barely, ever. The Met Gala looks are not about comfort." Lopez is one of five co-hosts for the
gala, joining Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and _Vogue _editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. "I was really honored to be asked to host it alongside Zendaya and Bad Bunny and Chris
Hemsworth," Lopez said on _GMA_. "Anna was gracious enough to ask me. We’re going to have a good time." Of the event, which she's attended more than a dozen times before,
Lopez said, "It’s always a nice time there. It’s such an interesting mix of artists and business people. It’s not just music or film, it’s everybody — fashion, film, music, business —
and you get to have some really interesting interactions." Some of Lopez's most iconic past looks have included a Ralph Lauren midriff-baring halter gown and pink silk satin skirt
for the 2023 Met Gala. Two years prior, she was also dressed by Ralph Lauren. Her Western-inspired look included a couture bustier, crystal embroidery and braided leather trim, topped off
with a wide-brimmed hat. Back in April, Lopez appeared in a video shared to _Vogue_’s Instagram account and said she was "still deciding" on her look for 2024. "I’m also one
of those people who chooses at the last minute," she explained. "Like, I like choices, and then I go, ‘Okay, this is how I feel today.' And then we try to kinda create some
type of amazing look — ‘cause that is the night for looks!”
