Days after revealing that she had suffered a miscarriage, Hilaria Baldwin posted an uplifting message on Instagram, saying that she was focusing on “joyful moments.” On Friday, Hilaria, 35,

shared a sweet throwback photo of herself with two of her kids, Rafael Thomas, 3½, and daughter Carmen Gabriela, 5½. She shares both children with husband Alec Baldwin, 61; the couple also

shares sons Romeo Alejandro David, 10 months, and Leonardo Ángel Charles, 2½. “In coping with loss or a difficult time, it is important to be present for your emotions and process, but also

keep an eye on perspective and joyful moments,” she wrote. “This photo, sent to me by a friend just now, was taken 3 years ago today. This is Rafa, I am like 5-6 months pregnant with

Leonardo, and Carmen is off to the right. Peaceful, happy, full of love.” “When I get sad, I like to remind myself that sadness passes like a season,” Hilaria continued. “I like to look at

my blessings, my happiness, and always remembering that I have so many more good times to look forward to. It is a balance of sitting with grief, as we don’t want to shove it away and not

address it…but also not let it cloud how wonderful life is.” _Want all the latest pregnancy and birth announcements, plus celebrity mom blogs? Click here to get those and more in the PEOPLE

reach out…our communities can remind us that there is sunshine too,” she wrote. “Lastly, we have built a lovely community here…so much beautiful interaction happens in the comments…so if you

need support, please reach out. I am sure and angel here will take your hand.” Less than a week after revealing she was “likely” suffering a miscarriage, Hilaria revealed on Instagram

Tuesday that she had sadly lost her baby after her unborn child showed no signs of a heartbeat at her scan that day. “There was no heartbeat today at my scan … so it’s over … ” she captioned

the post, which featured a photo with her family. “But I have some pretty strong and amazing heartbeats right here.” “I am surrounded by such love and I feel so fortunate,” the yoga

instructor continued. “Thank you all for listening, for your support, and for sharing your own personal stories. We are stronger together … ” Last Thursday, Hilaria first said she was “most

likely experiencing a miscarriage” on Instagram, confessing that the “chances are very, very small that this is a viable pregnancy.” Her announcement was shared along with a mirror selfie

that showed her hand placed on her stomach. “I want to share with you that I am most likely experiencing a miscarriage,” she wrote. “I always promised myself that if I were to get pregnant

again, I would share the news with you guys pretty early, even if that means suffering a public loss. I have always been so open with you all about my family, fitness, pregnancies … and I

don’t want to keep this from you, just because it isn’t as positive and shiny as the rest.” Hilaria added, “I think it’s important to show the truth because my job is to help people by being

real and open. Furthermore, I have no shame or embarrassment with this experience. I want to be a part of the effort to normalize miscarriage and remove the stigma from it.” The next day,

she shared another emotional post, assuring her fans and followers that she has “perspective to understand sadness and loss in the grand scheme of things.” “Emotionally I am processing it

all,” Hilaria wrote on Instagram. “Being able to be open with you has been extremely healing. I was very nervous to share, and am so relieved that it was received with such love.” Thanking

her followers for “making my world a brighter place,” Hilaria said, “I don’t know about you, but I find it extremely comforting to know that I am not alone on this difficult journey.”
