It appears as though the New Orleans Jazz Fest won’t be Simon & Garfunkel’s “_only_” U.S. appearance of 2010: Both Minnesota’s _Star Tribune_ and North Dakota’s _Grand Forks Herald_
report that the duo will perform at Fargo’s Fargodome on May 7th and the Twin Cities’ Xcel Energy Centre on May 8th in what appears to be the first dates of a possible U.S. tour. As _Rolling
Stone_ previously reported, prior to both those shows, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame pair will perform at the New Orleans Jazz Fest on April 24th. (A rep for Jazz Fest tells _RS_ their
press release touting the show as the pair’s sole U.S. gig was accurate when it was issued in January.) The sporadically updated Simon & Garfunkel official Website has not yet confirmed
the two new dates, but Ticketmaster postings reveal that tickets for the shows go on sale March 13th, so the shows appear to be legit. (That is unless it’s that _other_ Paul Simon who’s been
making the rounds.) According to the _Winnpeg Free Press_, Simon & Garfunkel will also play their first ever show in that Canadian city on May 5th. Previously, the pair performed at the
Rock Hall 25th Anniversary concerts at Madison Square Garden. TRENDING STORIES A MOMFLUENCER’S SON DROWNED. NOW OTHER PARENTS ARE RETHINKING HOW MUCH THEY SHARE ONLINE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN
