Four people were hurt in Hong Kong when two cars collided in Tsuen Wan on Thursday evening, with one vehicle mounting a pavement and pinning a pedestrian against a wall. Advertisement


Firefighters were called in to free the 23-year-old pedestrian, surnamed Poon, who suffered injuries to her legs and waist. She was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital in Kwai Chung for


treatment. Police said they received a call for help at 7.05pm after a black car driven by a 39-year-old woman, surnamed Wong, crashed into another vehicle. The two cars were travelling in


opposite directions along Wing Shun Street in Tsuen Wan when Wong’s vehicle hit a white seven-seater, driven by a 45-year-old man surnamed Lee, as she was making a turn. The seven-seater


then mounted the pavement, where it pinned Poon against a wall. Wong, along with two passengers, girls aged eight and nine, were taken to Yan Chai Hospital in Tsuen Wan. They suffered minor
