original chocolate galettes... Every year, pastry chefs bend over backwards to satisfy and astonish the taste buds of even the most demanding gourmets. But how do you choose THE galette that


will delight the greatest number of people? Every year, competitions for the best almond galette are held in the Paris region. As the galette des Rois season gets underway, we invite you to


(re)discover the results of the competition organized by the Chambre des Métiers et de l'Artisanat d'Essonne. At the end of each year, a jury meets to select the best almond cake in the


département.


After tasting and comparing numerous galettes, the jury delivered its verdict on November 27, rewarding a bakery located in Leuville-sur-Orge. For those with a sweet tooth, La Leuvilloise


bakery is the place to go in 2025 to enjoy the best almond galette in Essonne! Philippe Mégier won the competition in the " Corporate Chefs " category, with a galette as crisp as it is


delicious.


He was followed byAnthony Beuchet of the Le Fournil d'Autrefois bakery in Étampes, and Roberto Da Silva Ribeiro of the Ribeiro bakery in Soisy-sur-École.


In the"Employees" category, Hervé Traclet of Le Fournil d'Autrefois bakery in Étampes took first place.


Finally, in the " Apprentice " category, first prize went to young Charlotte Fillon from Maison Crosnier in Arpajon.
