As part of the demonetisation drive, the RBI is introducing new notes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series. The reverse of the note has a motif of the Mangalayan – India’s first interplanetary

mission to the moon. While the base colour of the note is magenta, the size of the new note is 66mm x 166mm.
